How much popcorn does one batch make?
A single cycle takes up to 120g of kernels and fills the 3.6L dome, which is enough to serve several bowls for a family or a small group.
Do I need to add oil?
This is an oil-based stirring machine rather than a hot-air popper, so oil is added to the pan along with the kernels. You can also place butter in the well of the lid cap so it melts down over the popcorn while it pops.
How do I serve the popcorn once it is ready?
Switch the machine off, fit the cap onto the dome lid, then turn the whole unit over 180 degrees. The dome becomes the serving bowl and the base lifts away, so there is nothing to pour or transfer.
Is it difficult to clean?
No. The cooking pan has a non-stick coating that wipes clean with a damp cloth once cooled, and the transparent dome lid can go into a dishwasher.
Can I make sweet or flavoured popcorn in it?
Yes. Because you control what goes into the pan, you can make plain, salted, buttered, or sweetened batches. Add sugar or caramel with care and clean the pan soon after use so residue does not harden on the surface.
