Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use cydeals.cy, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

Claim Your Deals Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through cydeals.cy.

2. What we collect
When you place an order. Name, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number, order contents, order value, delivery method, chosen payment method, and delivery status updates from our couriers.
When you pay by card or wallet. Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the card type and the last four digits. We never receive or store your full card number.
When you create an account. Username, email address, an encrypted password, saved addresses, order history and any preferences you set.
When you contact us. Your message and contact details, by email, phone, WhatsApp or contact form.
When you subscribe to marketing. Email address, and where relevant your phone number, plus your engagement with our emails.
Automatically, when you browse. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and cookie identifiers. See section 7.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with organisations that help us run the business, and only with what they need:
- Couriers and logistics partners — Akis Express, Svelta and Kazoulis — receive your name, address, phone number, order weight and, for Cash on Delivery, the amount to collect. They need your phone number to arrange delivery.
- Stripe processes card and wallet payments.
- Our website hosting provider stores the site and its data on our behalf.
- Omnisend sends our marketing and transactional emails.
- Google receives analytics and advertising data through Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, where you have consented.
- Meta receives advertising and conversion data through the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, where you have consented.
- Our accountants and professional advisers, where necessary.
- Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- erase it, where we no longer need it,
- restrict how we use it,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time,
- portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format,
- withdraw consent at any time.
Email support@cydeals.cy to exercise any of these. We respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity first.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any of them.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your basket, understand how the site is used and, with your consent, show you relevant advertising.
- Essential cookies keep the site functioning — your basket, your login, security. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies tell us which pages are used and where people run into trouble.
- Advertising cookies let us measure our ads and show them to relevant audiences.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies from any site.
8. Security
We use SSL encryption across the whole site, restrict access to personal data to staff who need it, and rely on payment providers who are PCI-DSS compliant so that card data never reaches our systems. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously and review it regularly.
9. Children
cydeals.cy is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted here with a new “last updated” date. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or a notice on the site.
