How much garden space does the dome need?
The frame itself occupies 227cm by 227cm. Allow additional clear space on every side so children can climb down or step off in any direction without obstruction.
Can it stay outside all year in Cyprus?
Yes. The steel is powder coated with a UV and water resistant finish and the dome is intended for permanent outdoor placement. It is not designed for indoor use.
What surface should it be placed on?
Position it on level ground over a forgiving surface such as lawn, sand or a soft play covering. Avoid concrete, paving and other hard surfaces directly beneath the frame.
How difficult is the assembly?
The dome arrives flat packed with instructions and fixings. A screwdriver and two people are needed, as one person holds sections steady while the other secures the joints.
Does it need any upkeep?
Very little. Wipe the tubing down when it gets dusty and check periodically that all fixings remain tight, particularly after the first few weeks of heavy use.
