Frequently asked questions
How much floor space do I need for the C5?
In use the machine measures 1530 x 750mm, and you should allow clearance behind the belt for safe stepping off. Folded, it reduces to 810 x 750mm with a height of 1320mm, and rollers let you push it into position.
How does the incline adjustment work?
The incline is motorised and runs through 18 levels to a maximum of 15 degrees. You can step through levels using the plus and minus keys on the console, or press the dedicated preset keys to move directly to a set gradient.
Is 16 km/h suitable for a serious runner?
16 km/h corresponds to a 3 minute 45 second kilometre, which covers most training paces short of sprint work. Combined with the 1130mm belt length and 15 degree incline, the C5 suits regular running as well as walking and jogging.
What does the Bluetooth connection do?
Bluetooth lets you stream audio from your phone through the built-in speakers so you can listen without headphones during a session.
Is the machine heavy to fold and move?
The deck folds with hydraulic assistance, so the rod carries most of the weight both on the way up and on the way down. Once folded, the unit rests on rollers, meaning you push rather than lift its 43.2kg.
